Carer needed

Description

I have been caring for my 50 year old brother who was born with severe learning and physical disabilities for the past 20 + years. The last four years my husband and I have employed a carer to support me for 20 hours a week with personal care before and after him going to his day center, with regret the employe is moving so we are looking to replace her role, which includes toileting, showering, dressing, washing, giving meds, changing his bed, cleaning teeth, setting up his peg feed, cleaning peg entry sight and redressing. We need this person to be calm around my brother who also suffers from distress and agitation caused sometimes by pain, noise, new surroundings and new people. Experience would be helpful but training will be needed due to brothers needs. We have a dog, don’t mind smokers but not in the house.
