Purpose of this document

Who we are
CareFind.net is a website intended to assist people in need of home care to find carers, and also for carers to find caring positions. The two groups of people are able to find each other by visiting our website and browsing the respective listings and then making contact with the person who posted the listing. All of the core functionality of our website is totally free, but there are also paid listing options which users may wish to make use of.
In a nutshell, the primary purpose of our website is to allow work seekers, prospective employers and recruiters to find each other.
We are committed to protecting the privacy and security of your personal information. This policy sets out how we will collect, retain and process any data that you share with us, or that we may collect from you.
For the purposes of the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR), CareFind.net is a “Data Processor”. This means that we are responsible for deciding how we retain and use personal information.

The first copy will be provided free of charge, but additional copies may be subject to a reasonable fee.
What information do we collect about you?
If you visit (or register on) our website and provide us with any personal data, we will process that personal data only in the way that it is necessary in order for us to render the services to you that you have requested, either explicitly or by implication.
We will process your personal data on the basis set out below as it is in our legitimate interests to do so following your use of our website.
We collect personal data about you when you post an advert looking for a carer, or when you advertise your services as a carer on our website – however, this is not an exhaustive list. We do so in order to provide you with the services that are available on our website, as well as for administrative purposes, such as when you purchase paid listings options through our website.
The personal data that we collect includes things such as your name, surname, age, gender, photo of yourself or others, email address, telephone number and, in some instances, your address. If you are a work seeker we might also collect the details of the kind of work you are looking for and your preferred work location. If you decide to upload a CV, we will keep that information for as long you want to keep your account with our website. If you are somebody who is looking for a carer for you or another person, other information that we may collect about you could include the gender, age, name, location and details of any health conditions that you or that person may have. We wish to emphasize that this is not exhaustive list as certain people may choose to submit more types of information than is listed above.
What do we do with your personal data?
By making use of our website, it is understood that work seekers are actively soliciting contact from prospective employers and recruiters about opportunities which match the work seekers’ fields of interest. Likewise, it is understood that prospective employers and recruiters are actively soliciting contact from prospective work seekers. If you are a work seeker we will therefore make your personal data available to recruiters and employers who use our website to find suitable employees for specific roles that they are seeking to fill. And, if you are a prospective employer or recruiter, your personal data will be made available to work seekers.
If you are a work seeker, we will share your personal information with other websites and/or companies, in order to facilitate your search for work. How long do we retain your data for?
Personal data that we process for any purpose or purposes shall not be kept for longer than is necessary for that purpose or those purposes.
In general, we will retain your personal data for a period of 72 months, after which it will be deleted.
Notwithstanding the other provisions of this section, we may retain your personal data where such retention is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which we are subject, or in order to protect your vital interests or the vital interests of another natural person.
For work seekers, prospective employers, recruiters and all other users of our website alike, we will use your personal data to manage your account and also provide you with alerts and relevant information relevant to what you have used our website for. Such correspondence can include emails, text messages, social media messages, phone calls, snail mail and other forms of communication. This correspondence might also include direct content from other providers that we may share your information with. Our only intention is to provide you with a professional service that meets your needs and, to that effect, we may from time to time decide that another may have something that would be of interest to you. Use of our website signifies your acceptance to receive marketing correspondence from us or any of our nominated partners.
Notwithstanding the above, you may change your mind at any time. If you are unhappy to receive such marketing correspondence, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org to inform us which correspondence you would no longer like to receive.
Data sharing and transfers
Save where it is necessary to do so in order to provide you with our services, or to put you in touch with one of our partners, we do not share your personal data with third parties.
Your personal data is stored on secure servers. If we share your personal data with any third party service provider in the course of providing you with our services, those third parties are required to process your data in accordance with relevant data protection legislation. However, CareFind.net cannot be held responsible for any breaches of your data privacy and safety that are out of our control.
Access to your information and correction
We want to make sure that your information is accurate and up-to-date and will delete or amend any information that you think is inaccurate. Should you wish to update your information held with us, or delete your account, please contact us by sending an email to email@example.com and we will be happy to assist you.
